I've Moved!

I said I was going to move and I have. I have gotten a small little one bedroom apartment in Clifton where I live with my adorable cat. I've been there for a little over a week now and already loving it. Of course, it being in Clifton, where UC's campus is, I went out and partied the first night (and second).
I absolutely love it there, I've been able to decorate it in the styles I want and get a bunch of little succulents. I stayed there for s couple days this week and just read and read and read. I finished four books from beginning to end within four days. It's so nice there, cracking open the sliding glass door, playing a record or two, reading away on my couch, laying with my cat in the family room.
The family room I have dedicated to Audrey Hepburn and Breakfast at Tiffany's. With hints of Tiffany Blue thrown against black and white, and even gold, I have also hung up Audrey Hepburn photos. I have books about Audrey and even the Breakfast at Tiffany's book itself laying out of my bookshelf. I have my records in a holder by the door, my paintings (finished and not) hanging up on one wall by my easel, and my own Audrey Hepburn painting up behind my couch.
My dining room has a gorgeous brick wall I'm leaving bare, which leads into my kitchen. I have a small kitchen with lots of cabinet space where I will fill with crisp white dishes but a lot of different kinds of mugs. I don't have a dishwasher but I've come to like doing my own dishes. Though I have a phobia of touching other people's wet food, and wet food in general, I've used that to make sure I do the dishes as soon as I'm done eating off of them.
My bathroom is small but I've always wanted the kind of lights and mirrors that I have in their at my vanity. I have all of my perfumes lined up, I have little sunflowers in a mason jar (I also have sunflowers on my table in my dining room too), and a bathmat that says what I believe about living your life in a bikini.
My bedroom is small and totally a boho beach theme with a cute little vanity. I have an oversized closet and a nice window across from my bed. With my new closet I have gone through and taken out everything I don't wear, don't fit into, or don't need. Which let me just say, is a lot of clothes! It took me forever to figure out how I wanted to sort my closet, what I wanted to keep, and what to do with the clothes afterwards. It's always good to clean out your closet and get rid of old things, and also make room for new ones.
Overall my apartment is small but I can walk right up the street to campus and see all my friends. I absolutely adore the place though, I have a lease for a year but can see myself living there for a while. I can't wait to be finished setting everything up and living there while working and taking classes.
